Best English Blanc de Noirs

Our 2013 Blanc de Noirs has been named the BEST in the UK!

Amazing news for our vineyard Alder Ridge... After the recent medal haul at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2017 and an rather spectular awards ceremony, hosted at the famed Vintners Hall in London last week, our 2013 Blanc de Noirs was awarded the title of Best in Class!

This gives our wine the proud honour of being named the Best English Blanc de Noirs Sparkling Wine. It was also one of only three Blanc de Noirs Sparkling Wines worldwide to have won a Gold medal.

We are incredibly fortunate to have been invited to the recent awards ceremony, where representatives from the very best Champagne and Sparkling Wine houses from around the world were gathered. Winning the Gold and Silver medals was already a huge feather in our cap, but to have then been given the title of having the Best English Blanc de Noirs, we are blown away!

Yet again we have to pay tribute to the many people involved in tirelessly managing our vineyard (that's you Jayne and Alison!) and wines (Hattingley Valley) on a day to day basis - this award is for them as well as all the other UK vineyards helping to put English Sparkling Wine firmly on the map.
