Here we go again…

From Saturday 19th December Berkshire our kitchens at Cobbs Hungerford and Cobbs Englefield will be closing once again.

Our farm shops will remain open as well as our kitchen at Cobbs Winchester which remains in Tier 2 (Hampshire).

December is usually our busiest time of year and the kitchens have stocked up on food that we do not want to waste so for this weekend only (Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December) we will be offering food to takeaway. Today (Friday 18th) will be your last chance to dine in and enjoy our festive menu.

From Monday 21st December until Christmas Eve we will serve hot drinks only and then, after Christmas our cafés will be closed until further notice.

Any food we are unable to sell over the weekend we will be donating to our local charities – West Berkshire Food Bank & New Beginnings – Reading.

It is heart-breaking for our teams who have put so much effort in to safely re-opening the cafés, not just once but twice this year. The Tier move is a huge blow for hospitality in Berkshire but we must follow the advice and do what we can to keep our communities safe.

Thank you all for your continued support and bearing with us through all the changes!

We are working our way through our reservations but if you were booked in with us and see this before please don’t turn up.

Best wishes,

Cobbs x
