We are offering all afternoon tea bookings on Monday 8th and Sunday 14th August a complimentary glass of bubbles!*
Our afternoon teas include a selection of finger sandwiches, Cobbs homemade sausage roll and quiche, scones with jam and clotted cream, and a range of sweet treats. All of this is accompanied by a refillable pot of tea.
There is a vegetarian option available, and we will do our best to cater to any additional dietary requirements. Please call us to double-check before booking.

Afternoon Tea History
Did you know afternoon teas were first introduced in Britain in 1840 by Anne, the seventh Duchess of Bedford?
It's thought that Anne felt a little tired in the afternoons and began ordering a tray of tea, bread and butter, and cakes to stem her hunger before her evening meal. Wow, genius idea Anne, thank you very much!
Although Anne took her afternoon tea late afternoon: you can enjoy an afternoon from 1.30pm at Cobbs.
We freshly prepare all our afternoon teas which is why they must be pre-booked online before visiting. We also sell gift vouchers for afternoon tea; these are available to buy from us in the farm shop or cafe.

1 x complimentary glass per person; please note the "bubbles" may vary. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions and is available at our discretion; we have the right to withdraw at any stage. Available between Monday 8th and Sunday 14th August 2022. We require a pre-payment for all Afternoon Tea bookings - this is non-refundable within 48 hours of the booking date. Please note that our food options may vary slightly depending on the season to reflect our current menus.
