Purée Goodness

Smoothies are a really easy way of making sure you squeeze in those all-important ‘5 a day’ - great for people on the go and great tasting too! Our frozen fruit from Field Fare is perfect for popping into your smoothie makers.

Our vitamin-boosting, Vegan-friendly smoothies are available all year round.

If you don’t have time to ‘squeeze’ in a homemade smoothie, pop into our cafés, and we’ll make one for you! We have a delicious range of smoothies and specialty tea from Canton Tea (the UK’s most premium tea supplier) that would make a great, healthy alternative to your usual coffee this winter.

‘Beet’ cold and flu! Here are our top tips:

  • Drink: Stay hydrated! Fill up on fluids and hot drinks. Try adding a teaspoon of local honey, a squeeze of lemon, and a hint of ginger or turmeric to your hot water to help soothe your throat.

  • Warm & Rested: Help your body by keeping warm and resting to direct your energy into fighting off that cold.

  • Eat: Load up on healthy food to build your immune system. Eat a variety of fresh fruits, veg, and meat.

Eat more honey, Hunny!

Honey contains antioxidant, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties that fight against the virus and treats the cold and its underlying symptoms. It also helps to soothe a sore or scratchy throat naturally and boosts the immune system when you are feeling under the weather.

WOW! Because of this, you will find Cobbs Honey on offer until the end of the month so you can stock up on the good stuff! Enjoy two jars for £10, normally £6.99 each before 31st January 2023.
