Festive Afternoon Tea

Join us at Cobbs from Monday 11th NOVEMBER to Tuesday 31st December for a delicious festive afternoon tea. They are the perfect Christmas treat.

You and a friend will be spoiled with a delightful selection of seasonal favourites, including Christmas sandwiches, Cobbs’ homemade festive sausage roll, and quiche.

Indulge in mouthwatering mini mince pies, festive chocolate brownies, and iced Christmas cake. Of course, no afternoon tea would be complete without the classic homemade scones served with clotted cream and a sweet cranberry compote.

All this is accompanied by limitless freshly brewed tea or filter coffee, with the option to add a glass of bubbles for an extra touch of festive cheer.

Join us for a series of Butchery Masterclasses with our Head Butcher Steve.

These workshops are educational & hands-on, designed to help you master the art of butchering and give you the knowledge and confidence you need in preparing meat at home.

You will learn all about where we get our meat from and why we work with our chosen farms.

To finish you will enjoy a meal prepared by our talented chefs after your course in our beautiful private dining room.


On the day…

  • Observe our Head Butcher break down a lamb and learn about all the cuts it offers

  • You will then prepare a Lamb Noisette on your workstation. The best in class will receive a “Master Butcher Medal”

  • You will take home everything you prepare on the day

  • After the workshop, enjoy a delicious meal prepared by our chefs - A lamb tagine with mint & coriander cous cous served with yoghurt, a stone-baked flatbread and refreshments.


Tickets are £90pp.

The ‘Rosalind’ Wreath Making Workshop - Bold & Bright

About the Event

Join us and enjoy a wonderful afternoon of festivities here at The Farm creating your very own Christmas Wreath with award-winning Florist and Garden Designer, Jordan Weston – The Bearded Botanist.

Our workshops will be relaxed and fun, the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

All materials to create your beautiful, bold, and bright wreath will be provided but we ask you to bring a pair of secateurs and if you choose to use gloves then please bring a pair along with you.

It may get a little chilly so please wear your woollies.


Tickets: £70

Extra details:

The price includes all the materials to make your wreath which you will be able to take home with you, mulled wine, and a delicious homemade mince pie. Jordan will be there to guide you through making your wreath with step-by-step instructions and hands-on support throughout the class.

The workshops will last around 2 hours and will be held in our polytunnels situated just opposite the main entrance. Please let Jordan know you are here upon arrival and be in the polytunnel 5 minutes before the workshop is due to start.
